Following a resignation, there’s a seat open on Aberystwyth Town Council for Central Ward. If no one asks for an election, we can just choose someone without a public vote.That’s called co-option.
If 10 people who live in Central Ward request it, there will be an election where the people of Central Ward can vote.
I am not standing for this seat, I just think the public should always have the right to choose who represents them.
