Rali Ceredigion is back, and once again Aberystwyth will be buzzing with rally cars, crowds, and plenty of noise. If you don’t fancy paying for an official spectator stage, there are still lots of places where you can watch the action FOR FREE.
#1 Multistorey Car Park (Yes, Really)
The unofficial grandstand. Head up to the top deck, and you’ll get sweeping views of the rally route below. Bonus: snacks and toilets are literally an escalator away. Just get there early… the secret’s out!
2. Aberystwyth Marina
Rally cars + sea views = chef’s kiss. The marina gives you the perfect mix of adrenaline and scenery. It’s also Instagram gold, so don’t forget your phone.
3. Rali Engage
Located at the Marine Terrace Bandstand in Aberystwyth, Rali Engage is the heart of the action and it’s completely free to access. There will be a big screen, live shows and stalls. No ticket required!
4. Trefechan Bridge
Last year, Trefechan Bridge was the spot: wide views, loads of atmosphere, and cars tearing past just below. This year they’ve put fences up, which makes it trickier… but if you’re willing to chance it, you might still get a decent view. (We’re not officially saying you should… but you know…)
